The Little Red Fox

This was created as an interactive book for children. They can learn how to make origami animals and when they had finished, they would have a storybook with the animals they just created. The story is an old one, but how they read it is a truly interactive experience.

The first pages in the book are dedicated origami guides with 2 coloured papers for each animal. These papers have the faces printed, as well as dashed lines with numbers showing the steps and where to fold.

The animals stick on the free space on the pages to be the characters playing their part in the story.

Ever since I was a child I was completely in love with Origami. I remember countless hours spent making animals and objects out of every piece of paper I found. It was my favourite pastime and remains till this day. That is why an Origami storybook was the first thing I thought of when we were assigned the task of creating an interactive children's book.
